OUR HISTORY

In 1974, on the fifty-sixth floor of Paris’s Montparnasse Tower, the M56 Group was born.

Formed in 1974 in Paris at Montparnasse Tower, M56 Group attractions welcome over 3 million visitors every year and offer the best views and unique experiences from the top of iconic cities. In 2020, this family-owned French group brought its sites in Paris, Berlin Chicago, and Rotterdam together under one new global brand: Magnicity.

Why? Because it described what millions of guests at our towers already felt. Magnicity puts them atop the highest points above the world’s most iconic cities and gives them more.

As a leading member of the World Federation of Great Towers, we are committed to sharing knowledge and maintaining productive partnerships with some of the world’s most famous towers.

360 CHICAGO proudly supports the efforts of My Block, My Hood, My City, a local non-profit focused on Chicago’s youth.

Our ESG approach is focusing on being inclusive and giving back to our cities by volunteering with local non-profits, donating to worthwhile causes, and by regularly welcoming groups from underserved communities. 

Magnicity also attempts to minimize its footprint on the planet by choosing exceptional products from local producers and emerging brands.

Magnicity operates with the philosophy that local voices are an integral part of our cities’ identities. We believe the perspective our cities’ local artisans, storytellers, and stakeholders bring is as unique and valuable to our visitors as our magnificent views.

This sense of community is part of Magnicity’s ESG approach, elevating Magnicity above the standard experience. Every aspect of our sites is infused with a local perspective.
