Introducing CloudWalk

Guests visiting 360 CHICAGO were treated to a one-of-a-kind photo opp in the form of a new 3D mural by artist Nate Baranowski. Located on the 94th floor, the mural’s unique optical illusion places visitors in the clouds at the top of a crane hanging off the side of the former John Hancock Center in downtown Chicago.

Dare to walk on air

This is the first project the observation deck has commissioned from Baranowski, a street painter, muralist, and alum of the University of Illinois. Measuring 10’ x 30’ ft, the 3D mural took Baranowski and his project partner about 50 hours over three days to complete.

“We continually seek imaginative ways to showcase our spectacular views, and Nate’s incredible talent really captured a thrilling new way to enhance our guests’ experience while providing an entirely new and artistic attraction for visitors."
