One Liberty Observation Deck Philadelphia’s first observatory

One Liberty Philadelphia is an icon. Designed by Helmut Jahn in 1987, it was Philadelphia’s first building to tower over the already famous statue of William Penn on the roof of City Hall. The 61-story, 945-foot skyscraper is built in steel, supported with eight large pillars on the outside, a central core containing the elevators and an impossibly open space between the two. The exterior is clad in granite, aluminium and glass, while on the 57th floor, Obervation Deck One Liberty Place offers views that even Willian Penn could never have dreamt of.

Philadelphia, The City of Brotherly Love

“Philly” is the birthplace of the nation, the biggest city in Pennsylvania, home of the Declaration of Independence and the Liberty Bell. It’s also famous for public art, sports, food and landmarks such as the Rocky Statueand the LOVE Sculpture, all within a short stroll of One Liberty Observation Deck.
